It was a nice Sunday morning when we gathered 20 of our Awesome staff and teachers at InterContinental Shanghai Expo for an interesting day of CPR and First Aid training led by professional coaches from Shanghai United Family Hospital & Clinics. This was the second year us taking the course with SHU. For most of our new interns though this was the first training and for the rest of us it was a great refreshment course. We separated into one Chinese speaking group and one English speaking group so that all of us would be able to get the most out of the detailed information.
This full day course was divided into 3 hours First Aid and 3 hours CPR training following the American Heart Association with lots of good hands on practicing. We also received some good tips and ideas on how to improve our safety policies for our activities.
Thank you Shanghai United Family Hospital & Clinics for ensuring that we are now prepared for the worst! (and lets hope the bad never happen!)
