Kids are cutting it loose: Dancing and singing to the song "Let It Go" from the movie "Frozen". It has been the song of summer camp 2014. It's so catchy it's hard for the kids to get the tune out of their heads after they've finished camp each day they are humming it on the way home.
Kids get to show their creativity by scratching their designs on black paper and have their pictures magically appear in rainbow colours.
Introducing water confidence to the little campers at The Summit is a fun activity. The kids can't wait to get in the water to play with all the wonderful water toys. Kids do daily activities with play dough making: snakes, balls, loaves of bread, cutting out shapes, ice cream cones etc. But little do they know, at the same time they are strengthening the muscles in their hands which will help their fine motor skills to hold pencils for drawing and writing later on. There is a learning concept behind all summer camp activities at The Summit for little campers!
What a great way to spend a sunny day by playing "What's The Time Mr Wolf?" outside. The kids get to practice counting then run away as fast as they can before the wolf can catch them for dinner time!
